If you're looking for a challenge, this year's Étape du Tour features Mont Ventoux--enough said. The race will be held on the 20th of July and will commence from Montélimar (Drôme) and finish at the Mont Ventoux summit. Before you'll reach the summit, however, you'll need to log most of the 172 km and four of the five climbs (côte de Citelle, col d'Ey, col de Fontaube, col de Notre-Dame des Abeilles). Then you get to climb (assuming it's not snowing too hard) Mont Ventoux. This online club is open to all who wish to track their kilometers and their climbing (you'll need a lot) prior to the race. The club millage goal will be set for 4000 k per participant prior to the July race. (If you're a little short, don't worry about. "Crash" will pick up a few extra for ya.)
